Even your first phone call will put you at ease. Our front desk staff is used to dealing with patients just like you.
When you meet Dr. Steven Polevoy and his caring assistants, you will realize why we are called Gentle Touch Dentistry. There will be no judgments and no lectures. You should not feel embarrassed that you’ve put things off – you’re here now, and we’re here to help.

Dr. Polevoy will help you find a way to get the needed treatment done.
Some of our patients just need nitrous oxide gas to get them comfortable.
Others require oral sedation – a safe and effective way to dramatically reduce anxiety before, during, and after your dental appointment.

With oral sedation, you will be awake, but very relaxed, and will have little to no memory of the procedure.
Most patients do very well with this method. A brief complimentary consultation will help you decide if this method is right for you.

Is Oral Dental Sedation safe?

Oral sedation is extremely safe. Your safety and health is always our top concern.  Your vital signs are continuously monitored throughout the whole procedure.

Can any dentist perform oral sedation?

Dr. Steven Polevoy has undergone extensive training in oral sedation. His training started in 1990’s at Staten Island University Hospital residency program, and continued through his career at Implant Seminars, and the nation’s top oral sedation program, DOCS. He is licensed by NYS to perform oral sedation on his patients.
